The story contains themes of loneliness and friendship, and it tells it in a way that leaves you heartbroken and in tears. And like Undertale, it is a physiological horror that plays with your expectations. Much like Deltarune, the latter half of the game is a 2D adventure with puzzles and a party-based combat system. The game beings by giving you an AI companion, who quickly takes over the program and begins making new “games” for you two to play together. Not because it’s bad (quite the opposite, actually), but because this is one of the few games that made me feel true despair and loneliness. I really, really don’t want to talk about this game.
